1) He will be posted as an ambassador at one of Bangladesh’s missions abroad

2) His appointment is confirmed for a three-year term

Journalist Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey has been contractually appointed as a senior secretary and assigned the position of ambassador by the interim government.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday, confirming his appointment for a three-year term from the date of joining.

As per the conditions of the appointment, Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey must resign from any other profession, business, or affiliations with government, semi-government, and non-governmental institutions.

He will be posted as an ambassador at one of Bangladesh’s missions abroad, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The notification also mentioned that other terms of the appointment will be determined by the contract.
